Once again causing disappointment amongst her fans, Amy Winehouse has pulled the plug on her British comeback gig due to ill health.
The “Rehab” crooners management released a statement which regretfully announced that Miss Winehouse won’t be playing at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Sunday (May 31).
The statement read: “Amy would like to apologize to her fans who bought tickets,” adding that refunds could be had at point of purchase.
Meanwhile, Amy was hospitalized while staying in St Lucia last week, during which time she was said to be “complaining of chest pains.

Following a brief hospitalization for dehydration and exhaustion, Amy Winehouse was spotted frolicking around St. Lucia with an unidentified man yesterday (May 3).
The “You Know I’m No Good” songstress looked to be feeling just fine as she jumped into her gentleman caller’s arms and wrapped her legs around his waist while out enjoying the beautiful sunshine.
In related news, it seems Amy’s petition for a court injunction against the paparazzi has been granted, and now shutterbugs must stay 100 meters away from her London home.
An inside source told press, "Every time she got in her car she was chased or jostled, and it has become unsafe not just for her, but the people around her. We don't have a problem with the press doing their job but it has become mayhem a couple of times and Amy had to do something."

Fitting in quite nicely when it comes to island living, Amy Winehouse was spotted getting an early start to her Easter Sunday (April 12) in St. Lucia.
The "Rehab songstress strutted along the shoreline with a group of children, also playing with a beach pooch during her leisurely stroll.
Meanwhile, Miss Winehouse may be getting some good news when it comes to her separation from Blake Fielder-Civil, as Blake reportedly has gotten another lady pregnant - which hurt his chances of banking $7.5 million of Wino's fortune.
Telling British tabloid News of the World that she got pregnant while in rehab with Fielder-Civil about six weeks ago, Gilleen Morris alleges: "Blake seduced me and we had a secret fling. When I told him I was pregnant he said, 'Oh f***!' But he vowed to stand by me and raise the child."
"Initially I was planning to have an abortion but Blake's vow has completely thrown me. I never planned for any more children. Our fling was just a bit of fun. I never imagined these consequences. I'm now confused and don't know what to do. I was surprised how supportive he was. I don't think he'd say he'll stand by me if he didn't mean it," Morris adds.
Making quite the interesting proposal, Gilleen tells, "And if Amy wants to be a step-mom I wouldn't mind, as long as she steered clear of drugs and self-harming."

Continuing her latest stint in the Caribbean, Amy Winehouse was once again spotted enjoying the beautiful weather on the beach in St. Lucia yesterday (April 6).
The “Valerie” songstress donned a purple bathing suit top and denim cutoff shorts as she sauntered along the sand with an unidentified gal pal.
During the morning outing, Miss Winehouse also was able to fit in some more horseback riding with her St. Lucia pals.
Unlike her extended vacation earlier this year, it sounds like Amy will actually be working on her third album a bit during her current holiday.
Her rep Chris Goodman told People magazine, "She is having her usual break. She will start working with [producer] Salaam Remi soon."

She has never liked being told what to do - and it sounds like Amy Winehouse lashed out after being told she could not tan topless at the hotel where she is staying.
The “Rehab” singer made her way back to the beaches of St. Lucia last week and has reportedly caused quite the raucous by taking off her bikini top on the beach and running through her family-friendly five-star hotel.
A source from the hotel says, "She was talking to herself as she ran and flailing her arms around but we couldn't tell what she was saying - it didn't make a bit of sense."
Apparently, Winehouse is working on her third album during her Caribbean vacation, also contemplating the purchase of a $5 million property.

Enjoying her return to the Caribbean, Amy Winehouse was in high spirits as she vacationed in St Lucia on Saturday afternoon (April 4).
The “Rehab singer took a walk along the beach before horseback riding with friends - also going back in the bushes where she appeared to be enjoying the company of an unknown suitor.
On related news, rumor has it that Amy is actually back in St Lucia eyeing up a $5 million villa on the island that’s grown so close to her heart.
A source tells Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper, “Amy has instructed lawyers to draw up contracts with the developers and everything is set for her to buy it. But a few days ago (her dad) Mitch stepped in and said he wasn’t sure. He’s worried about the possible distractions of drugs and partying on the island.”
The insider added, “But Amy says it’s better for her to be out there than in London. She has managed to get off hard drugs in St Lucia and is living a much healthier lifestyle.”
