Orlando Bloom: Man in Uniform

Giving all the ladies something to drool over, Orlando Bloom turned up on the Durham, North Carolina set of “Main Street” today (April 14) in a fireman’s uniform.

The hunky English actor gave a handsome smile as he noticed the paparazzi in between scenes, carrying a cup of coffee and sporting a mustache.

“Main Street” is the late playwright Horton Foote’s final screenplay, and is about people in a small town in North Carolina whose lives are shaken when a stranger arrives.

And Orly is in good company, as the rest of the cast includes Andrew McCarthy, Ellen Burtsyn, Patricia Clarkson, and Colin Firth.

Enjoying a romantic stroll in the Big Apple, Orlando Bloom was spotted arm-in-arm with girlfriend Miranda Kerr on Thursday afternoon (April 9).

The "Pirates of the Caribbean" hunk and his Victoria's Secret model gal seemed to be enjoying one another's company, lovingly walking along before Orlando jumped out to hail a cab.


Meanwhile, it sounds as if Miss Kerr is hoping to switch professions, as she's said to be looking at kick-starting an acting career.

She tells In Touch Weekly, “If there was a good role that I found interesting I would definitely try acting. I wouldn’t want to be in one of those cliché roles, but I would do something that would be a little more interesting.”
